- All of the VPs/managers with whom I interacted were incompetent and seemingly only interested in gossip and drama.
- Micromanagement, particularly of inane, useless tasks.
- Little to no training. Training that is provided is largely inadequate and ineffectual. All on-the-job, in-the-moment learning. You will need to re-invent the wheel repeatedly.
- ScribeAmerica will change a policy (tuition reimbursement, for example) without contacting any of its employees.
- Horrendous pay and little to no benefits.
- Management is very unprofessional and, therefore, does not expect professionalism from its employees.
- No clear policies about promotions/pay increases. Promotions seem to be made haphazardly.
I highly discourage anyone from pursuing a management position of any kind (trainer, chief scribe, project leader).
