Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We truly value that this is a great opportunity for those looking to further education by going to Medical School/PA School/etc. This is why being a medical scribe is such a great experience as you really do get to see firsthand how medicine functions, which is something you really can’t get from other jobs or volunteer work. We work very hard to maintain our place as the industry leader and strive to always be competitive in every market. We hope that your time with us has helped prepare you for your next journey in life.

Pros

It provided the opportunity for those who are interested in medicine but do not have experience in medicine to get their foot in the door and network with the providers they work with. They provide on-the-job training to ensure you are ready to solo scribe and provide opportunity for extended training if needed.

Cons

Low pay, no benefits, schedule was variable

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We are very happy to hear that you were able to get a good learning experience in medical terminology and overall had a good experience learning with ScribeAmerica. At ScribeAmerica we are very proud to have such in-depth classroom training with ScribeU and floor training program. While this may take some time to complete your training, we really do try our best to train our scribes to become solo and be prepared to handle every scenario. We feel that this is the pinnacle opportunity for our employees to really grow and prepare themselves when they go to Medical School/PA School/etc. We are proud of the fact that we are the industry leader and strive to maintain competitive pay in every market. I hope you were able take advantage of some of ScribeAmerica’s other amazing benefits including employee discounts on things like computers, Kaplan prep courses, and even on Lyft.

Pros

Great Experience with a lot of exposure to the ER environment. Create connections with physicians, residents, PAs, nurses, and other healthcare workers.

Cons

Don’t get paid enough for the amount of work required. Not enough hours. Telescribes unfairly do not receive as much shifts as in-person scribes.

Thanks for taking the time to review. We appreciate hearing you enjoy working with the providers at your facility, and are happy to have such great partnerships where our scribes feel welcomed. We are proud of the fact that we are the industry leader and strive to maintain competitive pay in every market. We strive to offer flexible scheduling while meeting the needs of our clients. We always recommend working with your direct supervisor if you would like to pick up more hours or even possibly cross train at another facility.
