Low pay, high level of responsibility

Pros

Good for an undergrad looking for education and experience in medical field.

Cons

Highly unprofessional. Classroom training was held in a Starbucks. Also, the training they give you in classroom training is pretty much an intro to pathophysiology. To expect this level of knowledge from someone making $11 an hour is ridiculous. The company motto is "Doctors save lives; scribes save doctors." Such high levels of responsibility and expectations of knowledge deserve a higher pay rate.

Pros

There are no pros....this is a waste of a company, its literally trash.

Cons

If I could rate this company 0 stars I woud!.. They wasted my time , I had many job offers and I chose this job...The whole process took 5 + months. The trainers are so RUDE and don't treat people with respect. They do not have the patience or decency to teach or train scribes.I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. If you are reading this , please save yourself time, your time is precious and it should not be wasted ! -MINUMUM WAGE FOR EXTREMELY HARD WORK -RUDE "CHIEF SCRIBES" -WASTE OF TIME -NOT ORGANIZED THE MEDICAL CLEARANCE LITERALLY TOOK 4 MONTHS...THEY COULDNT COMMUNICATE CORRECTLY WITH THE OTHER CLINICS TO CLEAR SCRIBES

Pros

You learn a great deal from the physicians and working amongst medical providers

Cons

Poor pay, the company treats people like they're disposable, they tell you that the schedules are flexible and that as a chief you have to work a minimum of 30 hours per week... Pure lies! They're super shady and sneaky about how they operate. So sad for a company that I thought stood apart from the rest! Also, as a chief my work day did not end as I walked out of work, I was answering emails around the clock, and phone calls frok my project leader 10:30 at night! Sometimes you dont even get to eat lunch! The compensation is NOT worth the amount of responsibility.
