Great growing company with strong engineering focus

Pros

- Most of the technical workforce is remote, so no need to relocate if you are a top talent that is not local to one of the big centers. - Engineering team is incredibly smart and talented. Problems are being solved from the processor level all the way up to the application - There is a fair amount of freedom, and most people I know have been able to direct their work to their areas of interest - Company is growing and the product is spreading fast. Taking part in that is awesome

Cons

- for those who have issues working remote, it can be an issue on itself. It's a double-edged sword. - It's definitely not a 9-to-5 job. - excess perfectionism will at times delay deliverables

Pros

Product is meeting a clear market need, showing true ROI at Enterprise accounts. Engineering and support teams are top-notch Demonstrated year-on-year growth Demonstrated that the company promotes from within - great career paths available!

Cons

This is a self-starter culture. There is very little formal training, HR infrastructure, etc. While there is plenty of inbound open-source traffic and adoption, commercial success is tied to Sales' willingness and ability to go out and educate about the software.

1. Great product that people love. 2. Thriving open-source community. 3. Great benefits. 4. Competitive Salary. 5. Filled with very intelligent people. 6. Remote workforce.

Cons

1. CEO micromanages everyone to the point of reduced productivity and outcomes. 2. CEO is not the right person for the job. The company needs a real CEO that understands the business side. 3. Company is focused more on their open-source product rather than the sales side. 4. Difficult to work with other developers and management due to strong opinions and egos. 5. Engineers are required to write frequent blog articles that take away their development time..
