Pros

1. You will get an oppurtunity to work with people who work there a** off and in the process learn 2. The culture is to pick up everything is on your own - which cuts both ways. One way you learn a lot while trying to figure things out on the other hand there is no investment in training and you will waste a lot of your time.

Cons

1. No path for career progression 2. No work life balance 3. Small firm run by hotheaded owner - who when suits him verbally treats you as a family member emotionally exploiting to work donkey hours with no monetary compensation 4. Eye opener for people let go without any severance - zero! 5. No structure around what projects need to be taken and how to train people. Anything that comes up is thrown at people setting them up for failure and putting in donkey hours.

Pros

There are talented and highly-technically skilled people in the company

Cons

- Very poor management skills - There is no long term vision. - There is a noticeable gender bias. There are no females in upper management and very little in the consultant community in the US. - There is a cultural bias for the resources in India to train them there bring them over. The resources in the US do not get training because it is too expensive. This creates a very de-motivated team in the US who watches the India resources grow while the US teams are in the same positions for years. - There is no opportunity for growth. Individuals have been in the same position for years. - No investment in education or professional advancement training in the US. - Lose great talent because of poor management and lack of growth. - Behind in the latest technologies which makes it difficult to compete. - There is no "corporate culture" in the US. There are always communications of the things going on in India, but nothing is done to bring together the employees in the US to the same degree as India.
