good pay. hours are good during summer. oppurtunity for advancement every year. getting to work outside. flexible scheduling. good for students or retired people.

Cons

hours are not good during non-summer season. management expects a lot from you, and offers little to no feedback. management distances themselves from employees.

People who care work there. Never find a place to work with animals like this any where else.

Cons

People are nice but they dont have the experience in the arts that a operation like this need to function at a hundred percent.

Pros

The animals are amazing to be around and they are treated very well. Not because the company "cares" but it is because it is good "business". Most of the trainers care about the animals and other people but somehow managers become politicians in the long run...

Cons

Not much opportunity to grow and advance really. Very Crappy pay considering your life is on the line. Very dog-eat-dog at times. There is no sense of mentoring even though they assign us as coaches. It's just "show up, work 13 hours a day, kiss everyone's ass who is above you and be grateful we're even paying you." You really need to be a brown noser to get ahead. Hard work doesn't cut it. You have to kiss ass.
