Pros

In the beginning, everything seemed pretty nice. The people were supportive, you get commissions based on meetings held, and it felt like a community. Being remote was a plus

Cons

Their systems that they used to help drive sales was a mess. The phone tool (Google Voice numbers, text now etc.) would always spam out so the number of people reached would be significantly low, which gave me less at bats to even pitch people.

Pros

The Culture of this company continues to amaze me on a daily basis. You could not ask for a better Leadership Team so serve and support you no matter what! Seamless has truly built something special and you feel this when you talk to your peers and leaders throughout the company. You can also read it when customers rave about the product compared to the subpar competitors, which seems to happen on a daily basis.

Cons

Just like any start-up, things are chaotic at times. That’s just part of being in a start-up. If you don’t like to bring your best self everyday, being challenged or are afraid of change, it’s not the right place. If you thrive in this environment it's "here" 100%!!

Pros

Seamless has given me an opportunity to take full control of my future and my career. When I was transitioning from my last job 3 years ago, I was leaving a disgruntled Inc 5000 Software company with a brutal, cut throat work environment. I was not in the ideal career path I wanted for myself as an email marketer, had zero growth opportunities or raises in the year I was there and quite unhappy with my job. However when the opportunity came to join Seamless, I got to build my career from the ground up. I was able to play multiple roles to grow the business from a small startup to a high growth SaaS company, which fortunately now is on the verge of becoming a publicly traded company. Now at Seamless, I've found my passion and my footing. I've been able grow from within the company from a designer to senior designer and now a design manager with a team of my own in just 3 years. I've been able to fast track my career. Take full ownership of projects I've always imagined for myself and have complete control of where I can directly help take the company to reach our goals. You do the research, prove your theory, take action, and you get to see your hard work make a direct impact in the business. It becomes extremely rewarding, especially when you like what you're doing everyday. I love design & tech so the work I do everyday aligns with my personal goals. Also, I've witnessed what it means to build a company from the ground up and the full transparency provided by leadership has let me see under the hood of what it takes to build a SaaS company. I'm extremely grateful for everything I've been able to learn at Seamless, I felt like I got my MBA in the first year by getting in the weeds with leadership to reach our goals. Also, learning is extremely valued so there unlimited resources for expanding your knowledge. Seamless sees tons of value in purchasing courses, software, coaching, etc. if it delivers value to employees to reach their goals. I've been able to learn far beyond what I was capable at my old job and been able apply it directly to the business. You really do get to reap the rewards for your hard work, it does not go unnoticed and if you strive for excellence there will endless opportunities to build the career you want.

Cons

Seamless is a high growth company so their focus on massive goals and targets can be intimidating to some. With massive goals, If you're looking for a job where you can fly under the radar it becomes very obvious from KPIs and reviews who is performing and who is not. However, it is much more exciting and rewarding to do something more challenging. When I've reflected afterwards and seen how much we've been able to truly accomplish in the year. You learn to appreciate the effort it took to get there and makes you want reach for something even bigger the following year.
