Leadership constantly changing, tough culture with frequent mass layoffs.

Good pay and working conditions, coworkers are smart and friendly. Flex-time and telecommuting options help sustain work life balance.

Cons

SHC is struggling to survive, continual layoffs and store closings are demoralizing. Systems are difficult and out of date. Management does not value employee contributions.

Flexible hours and by boss is very understanding of family emergencies.

Cons

No raise, bonuses. No 401K matching. Discount is not very enticing to encourage employes to shop sears.
