If you take an interest in bettering your ability to be an effective salesperson, Sears does well to give you the tools to strengthen your ability. Depending on the management team, they are very good about coaching and improving your ability and supporting new sales associates.

Cons

They push metrics and performance heavily, especially on credit card applications and service agreements for their products.
