Pros

Money can be good, food is delicious. Location is pristine.

Cons

Management has become a disgrace. All of the solid workers have quit or are planning to quit.

Pros

You can make a decent living if you have sales skills and are able to guide your guests quickly through a meal while also making sure they enjoy themselves. Reasonably busy. Teamwork is emphasized. Management is responsive to requests and issues and the hours are very flexible. Clearly room for upper mobility from the floor if the time and effort is put into that goal. The place is busy and everything moves briskly, so you've definitely got to advocate for yourself, but, largely, you can get your needs met. E.g. they feed everyone who works doubles for free. You also don't ever need to take this job home with you. Once you're trained, there's very little for you to do if you're not in the building. The actual people who work there are perfectly good. Generally good-natured culture, people are respectful and able to enjoy each other's company once the job is done and they're on break.

Cons

You're largely serving that extra desperate segment of social climbers in the upper-middle/lower-upper class, and some of them are the worst people you'll ever meet in your life. They have high opinions of themselves but still feel the need to prove how great they are. But it's a mix of about 20% friendly wealthy folks, 20% people out on a special occasion, 20% business meetings, 20% folks who don't even wanna know you exist as long as you bring them what they want, and 20% folks with a soul that'd make Mother Teresa say, "ok gRoss."
