Pros

Working to help low income, first generation students of color achieve their educational goals and creating systems to support them.

Cons

Like all community colleges nationally, the Seattle Colleges are struggling financially. This is leading to a restructuring and budget cuts. This has been in process for the past five years. College employees are being asked to take on more responsibilities without additional support.
