      United federation of teachers union support, friendly colleagues, good benefits/retirement, some tuition exemption for graduate studies possible as WA state college employee; overall a great place to spend one's entire career.

      Cons

      administration actively tries to prevent granting priority hire status and tenure for many positions; process of class assignment to adjuncts tends to be nepotistic and random rather than merit based.
