Pros

This is stable, easy profession if you have no passion for what you do.

Cons

The upper management are MBA mentality and have little software experience. If you want to live in the Mythical Man Month this is the place to work.

Pros

Used to be a great organization 2017/2018... new VP’s and directors took over- they don’t recognize hard workers and Côte promotes a good ole boy culture.. to all the amazing hard workers left... get out, there’s a life after secureworks.

Cons

Manipulating, political driven upper management. None of them want to get anything done, but want to get ahead by stepping over the hard workers- no direction, or culture.

Pros

Pre-IPO, this was a very different company. Collaboration, rapid innovation, great culture. Securing their clients every day was the passion everyone had. Great stories of saving/protecting clients from breaches. Was proud to work there.

Cons

Post-IPO they are a world of revolving door leadership changes, short-term revenue focus and, according to HR, 1 in 4 employees don’t last a year. Infighting/blame across functions, lack of accountability, slow progress on new innovations, massive cost-cutting in key areas just to make quarterly numbers. For employees, little or no mentorship, little upward mobility, and few if any perks for the very long and expected days. Toxic.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. At Secureworks, we take our Culture Code and Core Values very seriously. While the data you provided around turnover is certainly inaccurate, the overall comment on employee morale is concerning. While I recognize you are no longer working with Secureworks, your comments are concerning and I'd like to investigate further. If you feel comfortable, please reach out to me at feedback@secureworks.com so that I can gain additional information about your experience that will help us improve. I look forward to connecting. Thank you, Tom
