      For many years the company culture was supportive and team-based.

      Cons

      The company has made many strategic errors in redefining themselves and are relying heavily on workforce reductions to remain profitable. Morale is low, as are sales.

      Leadership needs to learn how to retain talent. Very "friends and family" focused; if you are not in that crowd, advancement is nonexistent. No advancement path.

      Pros

      Secureworks provides great opportunities for anyone looking to get into the information security space. As long as you have a desire to learn, can think quickly on your feet, and possess a can-do attitude, this can be a springboard to a fantastic situation for you.

      Cons

      The recent changes have left a significant number of clients in a tough spot. Some of it is a reality of doing business, but there are a number of self-imposed errors that could have been easily avoided. As a result, selling these services to existing clients has become exceptionally difficult. Loyal and dedicated employees are now paying the price for these decisions. Internal communication regarding the need for these changes, as well as the communication to clients have been handled poorly to say the least.
