Pros

You will get plenty of opportunity to learn new technologies. They treat employees very well with bonuses and incentives. For my position in this area, I was making much more than the average technician. My manager was crazy good. Always supportive and encouraging.

Cons

It can be a bit overwhelming at times as my team took on a lot of new tasks of the years that I was there. Not backfilling positions put quite a strain on our team.

Cyber security is a growing industry Good pay and benefits Flexibility to work from home

Cons

Workforce reduction the first week of Jan 2018, and there are more to come Bonus pay in 2018 will be lower than before (they are predicting ~75% of last year) Many of the good people are leaving

Pricing is on the higher end, no integration with SIEM technology, not enough sales collaboration with Dell colleagues
