Pros

Without sounding too cliche, the people is what makes Securian Financial a great place to work. My coworkers are like my second family. I feel an incredible sense of belonging here.

Cons

Outdated technology, hierarchical decision making, and lacking the necessary speed to truly be innovative, although I'm encouraged by the investments the company is making to change all of these for the better.
