Pros

Decent pay and some decent coworkers

Cons

Very little room for promotion. Most people are working here as a resume builder while testing to get on a municipal fire department. Benefits are horrible. 12 hour shifts switching from days to nights every 2 months instead of the normal 24 on 48 off firefighter schedule. No firehouse, so we're stuck in cubicles at the front visitors entrance.

No experience needed, a lot of down time, plenty of hours, good for students that don't plan on moving up and only need a job

Cons

Boring, strange hours, might have to deal with unfriendly co workers and management
