Pros

Hard to think of one

Cons

The CEO keeps losing industry veterans and core team members and this after the company already been through multiple rounds of RIFs before it was acquired. All support, product and sales leadership and managers gone one after another. Bored and uninspired at work. CEO reacts to each exit and claims to be in control only to lose a bunch more. More excuses more town halls and more exits. The cycle repeats. The company feels rudderless. Competition is stiff and morale is at an all time low.

Pros

Good people, remote work, child safety focus, recently acquired, stable paychecks etc

Cons

Founders quickly cashed out at acquisition and left. Recently, the entire sales and support leadership team has left. Most top performing employees and managers have moved on including all the US managers and directors. US office has no leadership. For more than a year there has been no communication on where the company is headed and why so many have left and continue to leave routinely. To make everything worse, the appointed CEO also went remote. The company all hands used to be energetic and lively. Quite lackluster now. Join if you are looking for a place to collect remote paychecks and indulge in lost hobbies.

Securly Response

(Response from CEO) Thank you for taking the time to post this review. It is natural for any company to go through a period of attrition and rebuilding post acquisition as we are right now. Having said that a few points: 1) On our India team - exactly one employee lost to attrition since April. 2) On the US side, other than the 2 sales and customer success leaders mentioned in the post, it has been a relatively normal year for attrition. Hardly the great resignation. Additionally, I sent out detailed memos on new org structure / rationale for why these would work in the wake of these exits + did multiple town halls to discuss these events and ensure that everyone's mind was set at ease. 3) Incidentally the past 2 all hands and multiple smaller group sessions have been dedicated to describing in copious detail exactly where the company is headed. If you missed out on these, my apologies - please feel free to DM on Slack and I'd be more than happy to give you a run down on why I continue to believe (and you should too) that we're continuing to build a valuable and special company. 4) Everyone (in every tech company out there) is remote at the moment and there is no office. So I am not sure how to respond to this portion of the critique

Pros

Medium sized company that is progress based and listens to it's people. CEO seems really nice. Most coworkers are very pleasant and communication is effortless.

Cons

Workload can be heavy occasionally, not a big deal though. It comes and goes.
