Poor work life balance. Long hours. No breaks.

You may be able to make a lot of money, but it comes at a cost. There is very little work/life balance, the people in your office become your really good friends (a good and bad thing), you can forget about meetings your other friends for happy hour after work because you get off work when happy hour ends. There are clear favorites in the office, most typically are the ones that are billing the most each month or overall, and unfortunately if you aren't in that category they do not pay too much attention to you other than to call out the negative things. Once you get past the "honeymoon stage" of the first couple months, the pressure is there to make deals and it will be coming from every direction. If you can't handle a high pressure job this is not for you! Money is the bottom line (which is to be expected in this industry) and they will do/say what ever it takes to get someone to take a job or convince a manager to hire someone. Sometimes that is needed to push the process along, but some times it also crosses an ethical line.
