many opportunities for advancement, if you work hard and prove yourself. high stress environment due to insurance deadlines. positive environment, caring management. PTO, Hershey Park, Christmas Party, on the job training, team work, independence. great entry level position that could become a career if you work hard

pay could be higher, negative employees left unchecked. Certain employees are allowed “a pass” for being rude or non responsive.

If you like to work hard and want to be appreciated for it, this company is for you. CEO Chernow has been great, and the Select Medical Way of doing business is a real thing. Check out the Youtube channel to hear directly from staff and patients. Select Medical pays a competitive rate and benefits are super. But it's not for everyone. The work ethic is incredible. They also give to the community with their time.

Cons

A few "old school" leaders are still embedded in certain markets. Be sure to find out as much as you can about the hospital leadership or outpatient clinic. Things keep changing for the better, so you may find a great fit. The clinical outcomes are very impressive, so that's always something to feel good about.
