      Well established company. Job security.

      Cons

      I can only speak for my current building and current DOR. Med A patients get 20 mins of treatment only. Med Bs 30 for speech. 45 min evals. Average caseload for one speech therapist is 15 patients. Unreasonable expectations.

      Pros

      Good benefits. Depending on the SNF, a great work environment. You’re likely going to be the only SLP so just a heads up for any clinical fellows. Flexible schedule, can easily work around appointments

      Cons

      Little to no training, expected to just figure it out. If you’re starting your CF with Select, advocate for yourself hard immediately and make sure to ask for help. Extremely limited PRN coverage. When you take off work, your patients just don’t get therapy.
