Some bad managers make the job harder than it is. Sink or swim, weak pay structure is constantly shrinking not a long term company to work for factory worker mentality applied to a professional environment

Cons

There’s a serious lack of structure. Calls are constant, expectations are high, but the support and training don’t match what’s actually needed to succeed. You’re expected to hit numbers, transfer qualified leads, and move quickly—but the systems and communication internally are inconsistent and misleading. Management pushes volume over quality, which creates pressure to rush calls instead of actually helping people. It often feels like you’re just another number in a system, not an employee being developed or valued. Feedback is minimal unless something goes wrong. On top of that, the environment can feel repetitive and draining with little room for growth.

Helping me renew my license

Cons

Cutting wages in half, benefits that costed me $600/mo, absolute zealous loyalty to AEP endless hours of feeling like a 10 year old skill set would be more valuable elsewhere. I would passionately discourage anyone close to me from pursuing employment with SelectQuote.
