      Unexpected layoffs

      Pros

      Treated core agents like flex agents and laid a bunch of us off out of nowhere. Our sales numbers were suffering, but we were expecting to be transferred to hybrid roles to do enrollment and sales. We were all shocked when we were just fired instead. I did not have a back up plan, so this was a huge blow.

      Pros

      Pay is decent. Job is pretty simple.

      Cons

      Management never listens to agents when there are areas to be improved. They want you to shut up, stay in your lane, sell people insurance. They have an ego problem and they don't like to take advice that could benefit the company and make everyone's job a better overall experience. They like to keep making the same mistakes expecting different results and then blame the agents for it.
