Pros

- provide equipment - the pay wasn't horrible - the health/dental provided wasn't bad - great co-workers

Cons

- lied: danced around the issues that were presented to them - no reviews: being new, you expected guidance like where to improve. Clearly, no news isn't good news. - managers had teams of people. They strived to be the number one team. Rather than helping others improve, if they needed to, keep praising the ones that have been selling for 4-5 months already and leave the ones that have been selling for 10 days to fend for themselves. - promises of the best training available of 6 wks only to be cut down to 2 1/2 weeks. That's rough. - being moved throughout departments, and starting over, gives little to the person being moved to improve as they feel beat down or not good enough. - when asking questions during training: some trainers, when people asked questions would respond with TRAINER: Figure it out. You have the tools on the website to use, so use them. NEW HIRE: Where do we find it on the website TRAINER: You have to look. We can't hold your hand. NEW HIRE: I've only done this job for a week TRAINER: Pull up your big boy pants and be self-sufficient NEW HIRE: Ok... thanks. 3 months later - file for unemployment

Pros

They would assist with licensing and certifications. There were also training and ramp up bonuses that can be received based off merit.

Cons

I was hired as a seasonal employee and was told that the position would end in March. I resigned from my previous position to work with SelectQuote ( horrible mistake) because it was more in line with what I wanted to do. After March, they would hire most of the seasonal employees full time and possibly move us to different departments. Sadly, this was not the case. Right after AEP at the beginning of December, a lot of employees received an email to join a ZOOM CALL. We all got terminated via Zoom group call effective immediately with no actual reason for our termination or heads up. This left me job hunting right before Christmas. I wish they could have given us a heads up that they would be letting us go after AEP. I would have been more prepared. Pay was also not what I expected. I was told that we could be make $15-30,000 during AEP but due to the complicated commission structure, commission is based in tiers. Lower tier agents make about $8 in commission per sale.
