Great company to work for! One of the best!

Pros

A couple of pros off the top of my head includes flexible work schedules, generous PTO plan and the company offers plenty of corporate perks. The Overland Park office is extremely nice and has excellent accommodations - including ping pong tables, an on-site gym and shuffleboard. I noticed almost immediately that SelectQuote offers a fun and relaxing atmosphere with a newly introduced casual dress policy!

Cons

The medical benefits are extremely pricey compared to what other employers in the area offer. There is also no Blue Cross Blue Shield option which is surprising since they seem to offer a variety of different plans through a variety of other providers.

Pros

Excellent Training Class / Environment - Very Positive, Helpful, and Encouraging Management team. AM or PM 4.50 hour training class, then home work at night going over that day's material (you are paid 1.5 hours to do your homework and study every night). Then a test once a week. Everything builds on itself in a very slow, intentional, manner. You also get a bonus every pay period. The size of your training bonus pay checks depends on how well you do on your homework and tests. Also - Free Nachos

Cons

Currently, I'm not seeing any cons with SelectQuote. Glassdoor is making me write twenty words to move forward with my review.

Free Food. Facilities. That's it.

Cons

Low Commission. They change commission schedules like the seasons. Always in favor of SQ. Turnover rate Micromanagement Job security Lead distribution
