      Wonderful children, different each day, comfortable work environment in a home, deep connections with children, making an impact on shaping lives, fun and play

      Cons

      exhausting and can have burnout after a while. Children are great but often the parents are not. No benefits. Constantly sick! Spent 8 week sick without one healthy day. No ability to call in when sick. no vacation pay. Need to have a nanny share or 3 or more children to make enough money. Every few years you have to start over.
