Upper Management Dysfunctional

Pros

There are good people who work here. Benefits are good. Don’t be fooled by work remote offerings. Ancient upper management will not support you working from home once you get there. They don’t care about you in the slightest. To value remote work means to value work life balance for your people. This would require management to value their people in the first place and that is non existent here.

Cons

Good people have to pick up the slack for people who have been there so long they will never get fired. Instead of firing bad performers, everyone suffers. This is not an innovative environment because of upper management dysfunction. Communication top down is horrible, they have no idea what’s going on and they are only concerned about control. If you come from an innovative environment, this will be hard to deal with.
