      Pros

      Good market fit for the company and growing in terms of tools and investing a lot in the company

      Cons

      Management are pushing large deals too much. We dont get paid anything on smaller sized deals, they want 70% of our closed deals to be large deals and hitting that number is the only way to get promoted. Since they brought that in, almost no one has been promoted.

      Great product but getting worse and worse for Sales

      Pros

      - Good product (best product in MarTech) - Helpful/ teamwork oriented colleagues in the sales department - Very flexible regarding working hours and location - First line managers are fine.

      Cons

      - The compensation plan is deteriorating with each quarter. - Pay is inconsistent and heavily dependent on deal size, where hitting 100% of your target with smaller deals may only earn you 33% of your bonus. - Leadership is increasingly micromanaging, requiring excessive administrative tasks like detailed reporting and SFDC management. Manual double or triple reporting on many KPI's even though they are logged automatically in SFDC. - Leadership is disconnected from the product and regional market's needs. (The world is not the USA) - Large salary discrepancies exist between long-time employees and newcomers, with new hires often earning nearly double, despite less industry (MarTech) experience and lower performance.

      Semrush is an amazing place to work!

      Pros

      A company that truly puts the employees first. All companies say it, Semrush does it. I feel very valued, there is always oppurtunities for learning new things, and evolve professionally. Semrush offers good compensation and great benefits, that I've never had before. The culture is an important part of the company, where everyone is considered an expert in their field. It's amazing to work for this company! I work remotely, but I try to go to our office in Amsterdam 3 times a week. The office is great, it's completely new, has everything you need to have a good workday, and much more! The location is very good, at Amsterdam Zuid station, and it makes me proud to work for Semrush.

      Cons

      Sometimes there is a low attendance at the office in Amsterdam. I get energy from working at the office and it would be great if more people would go.
