Pros

A lot of free food

Cons

Incredibly hard to network with people here because people are already in their cliques. Management asks you to provide feedback for training and when you do they tell you that the Enablement team is already working on it. You're in luck if they like you because then you might be able to actually advance.

Pros

-HQ has a great office and amenities -Nice people, for the most part

Cons

The company has taken a drastic turn. They preach ABM but have instead started to embrace a boiler-room, call-center mentality by essentially outsourcing their sales team to a remote office in AZ.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. Going from idea to a Series B round of funding, creating multiple revenue streams, and growing an organization to over 200 employees in just 3 years is indeed a challenge—but one that we’re willing to take on. There will always be ambiguity and change as you discover and optimize for product-market fit. We are doubling down in San Francisco this year, but need to recognize the new workplace trends that require employers to adapt across different regions. With this, every employee is given ownership and held accountable as we work together to solve big problems. Each year, we reflect on all the positive learnings which ultimately have contributed to our success, set a roadmap, and look to improve as we create a new value category of business. We always welcome feedback to help us get better.

Pros

There are no pros. This was the most toxic, unhealthy, work environment I’ve ever encountered.

Cons

Sort the reviews here and focus on the negative ones. THEY ARE TRUE. I didn’t pay attention and accepted an offer despite glaring red flags throughout the interview process and during my time at Sendoso. I was part of a bigger layoff, but they did me a favor. This was a company built on bullying tactics. Because I dismissed warning signs, I walked into a land mine + toxicity and unprofessionalism beyond belief. A company’s culture is only as good as the worst behavior they are willing to accept. What was deemed acceptable at Sendoso is shocking. I can’t believe there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit against this company and their leadership. I witnessed people brought to tears, gaslit. I heard co-workers speaking badly about one another behind each other’s backs, only to turn around and see them sharing fake positivity on LinkedIn about how much they love/appreciate their teams. When an interviewer tells you they are only at Sendoso “for the money, hoping for IPO”….RUN. When the hiring manager can’t intelligently articulate what they are hiring for, and has no onboarding plan (and is MIA for most of your first week)…RUN. When you are belittled and intimidated into firing colleagues without rhyme or reason…RUN. This isn’t about product (which is fine, maybe?), or revenue (which doesn’t seem to be healthy considering constant layoffs), but CULTURE. What they portray externally is not aligned to what is happening internally. If you don’t care about any of that, and are still considering a job on this sinking ship, then consider: no 401k match, abysmally tiny salary compared to their competitors, no bonus, made-up equity (worth nothing), low tech (laptop was delivered to me at the end of my first workday; it was three days late with zero communication from HR.) covered in dirt and grime. They didn’t even bother disinfecting it before sending it to me for use. “Great” onboarding experience. Top notch. Not.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your experiences from 18-24 months ago. We recognize that we are unable to change the past. However, we can absolutely learn from it - Our harshest critics are often our best teachers. Developing Sendoso into a wonderful place to work has been the top top priority for our new leadership team over the past 18 months. We are truly delighted by the results of our deep commitment to our core values and our company culture, as demonstrated by our recent employee engagement and eNPS responses and results. We humbly reiterate to you that the employee experience at Sendoso today is one that we can all feel proud about. We wish you the very best.
