Don't Let the Colorful Marketing Fool You
Pros
There are very capable and hardworking people on the team and throughout the company. The idea of the tool is great and I'm optimistic they'll figure it out.
Cons
If you're considering being a CSM at Sendoso, maybe turn around and walk away. I'm sure other departments have their issues, but the below is only about CS. The department has never been ran properly and it was like that before I started. It's one thing to be fast paced and manage constant change, it's another to implement head scratching processes that seem like steps backward. More than half of the CSM's are wanting out. Leadership from top to bottom is generally clueless and it's not unusual for them to lead with fear. All year, there's been constant anxiety you can feel in meetings. The product regularly breaks and the warehouse consistently sends our clients' orders out incorrectly, making it a daily pain point for the clients and client-facing teams. This has been an issue for 2+ years. Leadership pushes their social and political agenda during company meetings, and it makes those that don't have the same viewpoint uncomfortable. An example of this is the team had to put a Juneteenth related link in our away message when we recognized it as a holiday, and it made people across the company once again feel uneasy. I think it's great that the company is willing to put effort in this area, but it should be more neutral. Some of us feel like we can't have freedom of thought unless in conforms to the belief of the leadership team.
