Pros

There are very capable and hardworking people on the team and throughout the company. The idea of the tool is great and I'm optimistic they'll figure it out.

Cons

If you're considering being a CSM at Sendoso, maybe turn around and walk away. I'm sure other departments have their issues, but the below is only about CS. The department has never been ran properly and it was like that before I started. It's one thing to be fast paced and manage constant change, it's another to implement head scratching processes that seem like steps backward. More than half of the CSM's are wanting out. Leadership from top to bottom is generally clueless and it's not unusual for them to lead with fear. All year, there's been constant anxiety you can feel in meetings. The product regularly breaks and the warehouse consistently sends our clients' orders out incorrectly, making it a daily pain point for the clients and client-facing teams. This has been an issue for 2+ years. Leadership pushes their social and political agenda during company meetings, and it makes those that don't have the same viewpoint uncomfortable. An example of this is the team had to put a Juneteenth related link in our away message when we recognized it as a holiday, and it made people across the company once again feel uneasy. I think it's great that the company is willing to put effort in this area, but it should be more neutral. Some of us feel like we can't have freedom of thought unless in conforms to the belief of the leadership team.

Pros

Sendoso has great people. However, these same people have been let go from the recent layoffs or have resigned.

Cons

COMMUNICATION is lacking and the executive team is NOT forthcoming about why there has been a “revolving door” for managers lately! The culture has changed from “one team” to “CYA - cover your a$$”. What was once an exciting place to work has become very ugly and toxic.

Thank you for your feedback. We agree - we do have great people, who we deeply value, and it's important for us to hear where we need to improve. As we've gone through rapid growth and changes, we acknowledge there have been stumbles, and are working hard to improve transparency and communication across the company. If you're comfortable, I also would be more than happy to connect offline and discuss your concerns in more detail. You can reach me directly at alexis.kavazanjian@sendoso.com. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experiences. - Alexis Kavazanjian

Good product, poor execution

Pros

Being able to use the product yourself while selling

Cons

Lack of structure, lack of leadership, lack of guidance. The company has a tremendous value prop but struggles to expand their TAM. Relationships between departments are extremely siloed. 1:1s with managers and team meetings are usually spent talking about “nothing”. And to top it off, when I put my resignation notice, no one has ever reached out to gather feedback as why I was leaving/perform exit interview. The only note I received was from IT to return the equipment.
