Pros
Even though the company shuttles in and houses migrant workers from Texas to undercut the regular employees, the Janesville Seneca plant does have a union, however ineffective, which provides very minimal benefit to employees, as opposed to other businesses in the area.
Cons
Rampant nepotism, incompetent management. I have never witnessed a more inefficient utilization of time, labor, and resources than experiencing the mgmt team, (who were mainly friends/family of executives) at Seneca Foods attempting to "manage" operations. It's really an awful place to work.
