Pros

You can say yes or no to taking on a case, being able to decide your own schedule (to a degree), helping to care for the elderly and helping them to be able to stay in their homes rather than be place in a home.

Cons

Very low pay for each visit and poor mileage reimbursement. Restricted autonomy. The fact of the matter is that this is a franchise, and when push comes to shove, all that matters to the higher ups is their bottom line and making money. Even though CHHA's are working under your license, management discourages you from truly fulfilling your responsibilities as an RN. You are told to not act like you are a supervisor of the CHHA when you make a visit to check up on a patient and their aide, but to act like you are a co-worker or friend, even though part of your job is to evaluate their performance. Management actually said "let me be the bad guy" rather than have the RN correct a CHHA doing something incorrectly.

Pros

Clients are and you feel like they are taken advantage of by the company.

Cons

Poor pay...paychecks are always short if you are lucky to get one. Treated poorly by management. Phenomenal turnover of staff due to management. Definitely one of the worst companies I have ever worked for by far.
