Pros

Sentar is the best company I've ever worked for! We work together as a team and we truly care about each other on a personal and professional level. Employees are recognized for professional accomplishments and personal milestones are celebrated. Our leadership team has a true open door policy that ensures transparency and allows them to get to know everyone. This ensures that everyone is engaged and feels they are an integral part of the company. Leadership also understands the importance of work life balance and supports a flexible schedule. We have a great benefits package that includes a very generous PTO accrual rate, 401K match, and an annual education/professional development reimbursement.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything! Sentar is a great company to work for!

Pros

They don't keep track of their employees and never know if your doing your job or not.

Cons

They take advantage of their employees, they think it's ok to use your personal stuff (ie cell phone) as their business equipment. Its ridiculous that I had to check my email on MY cell phone and use their app because they couldnt send me an RSA token. I witnessed them openly discriminate against women, by lowballing them on wages for the same job with similar credentials. The company ruined my home life. The benefits are not that good, hard to get PTO accrued, and only get paid on certain days of the month.

Pros

Sentar offers very good benefits to full time employees (I was full time for a while...). Great work environment - was voted one of SC's best places to work for a couple of years in a row.

Cons

I can't really think of any downside of working at Sentar. They do a lot to keep their employees happy, to include monthly lunch & learn meetings, flexible work hours (depending on contract), birthday cards, etc. ..plus, sodas, snacks and good coffee are available at the Park Circle office.

Pros

Small company atmosphere, leadership really does listen, GREAT benefits (ESOP, 401k, profit sharing, incentive stock options), interesting and flexible work. You will be recognized and rewarded for putting forth the effort. This is a great place to really move your career ahead.

Cons

It is a small company, so some of the usual small company drawbacks will apply. But the pros highly outweigh the cons. This is not a good company if you want to sit around and draw a check, it's a small company and you need to put forth the effort.

Pros

Lots of pros. Empowerment, employee priorities are actually placed above business ones...yet they've been successful for 25 years. Go figure. Must be some secret sauce. HAHA. Educational funds, monthly employee lunches and BD/anniversary celebrations with gifts, opportunity to grow and advance. Top notch benefits, 401K matching and competitive salaries. Not much middle management at all. Help is available if you need it and everyone works as a team, back-filling for you when you have an emergency. Not a bunch of meetings. Not filled with politics. You can speak your mind all the way to the top.

Cons

They expect you be self-driven and experienced, so if you need someone to tell you what to do each day, this isn't the company for you. Also, due to flat organization, you may not get frequent performance feedback if that is important. Small company with tight profit, so not much spent on decor or fancy marketing. There have been occasional furloughs over the 25 years, when a major contract expires without another in its place. However, they've typically even held off doing that by kepting people employed on other tasks and taken profit hits. When its occurred, most folks were re-hired...if still available...as quickly a new business arrived.
