Patient care certainly is Sentara's primary focus. Working in direct patient care, in a patient facing position, does often require longer hours than if you worked in a different field or healthcare role. Sentara, like others within the healthcare industry, is dealing with a national shortage of many healthcare staff as we actively recruit to fill vacant positions. The fact that the national unemployment rate is the lowest it have been in many years is also impacting us as well. We do, however, have some great incentives in place and much to offer a potential new employee from a total comp and career opportunity perspective.
