Under-resourced overloaded teams, chaotic planning, bad architecture decisions made by management. Product Management changes pretty often and thus the direction

Pros

There's a lot of interesting stuff to work on, groups are responsible for a wide range of things which creates opportunities for lateral growth. A high coding standard is generally enforced which is reflected in the codebase's maintainability. The company seems to have a momentum to it, there's no feeling of stagnation

Cons

It seems like management (especially middle management) is only looking upwards and are disconnected from their groups. They have little to no knowledge of what the people are actually doing, and don't seem to care either. Some leaders seem to have gotten promoted not by merit but by favoritism, which is really demotivating. Moreover, the team members rarely ever offer help, instead opting to let newcomers make mistakes and then publicly call them out - which is a shame as a lot of the team are otherwise very experienced. Some of the codebase is a legacy nightmare, a result of hasty decision making years ago

Pros

Remote most of the time but now management expect you to travel to London office. Great team of people.

Cons

Numerous changes in management and rather than be trusted, constant check ups and high level of micromanagement.
