Pros

From the moment I read the glowing reviews for S1 on Glassdoor, I was hopeful. After some time in my role, I'm happy to say that I feel the same way. The people and culture are personable and hardworking. Onboarding was easy and the benefits/compensation are generous. The product is highly rated and respected across the industry as well, and you can tell the people here are proud to be Sentinels.

Cons

The hyper growth mode S1 is still undergoing can lead to quick decisions and tight turnaround times for certain projects. Not a great fit for those that fear change.

Great people; interesting technology

Pros

All of the people whom I work closely with have been great. These are some of the most talented software engineers I have ever worked with. The technology is cool to work on, and the company seems to have a really bright future.

Cons

The company is going through some of the growing pains of moving from a small(er) company with a startup mindset to a larger company. Just an observation-- that may not be a true con, per se.

Growing pains with more on-call thanks to new scope of work, but management cares and is trying to figure it out. Nothing unique to S1 that other places also don't have as well
