Pros

Compensation packages are competitive and generally above market rate, which is one of the few reasons many people stay as long as they do. The core technology is genuinely interesting, and early on you will find talented, driven colleagues who make the day-to-day work rewarding. For engineers who enjoy working on complex security infrastructure problems, the domain itself has real depth.

Cons

The company feels like it is steadily losing ground in the market, and each year the internal environment deteriorates further. Strong, capable managers are progressively replaced by people who lack both the technical understanding and the leadership skills required for their roles. Decision-making is not data-driven — what matters is which engineer a given manager has chosen to trust unconditionally. Whoever holds that informal influence effectively sets the team's direction, regardless of merit or evidence. This leads to a culture where individual vision and internal initiatives are routinely killed. The implicit message from leadership is clear: do what you are told, not what you think is right. As a result, the most talented people are leaving in increasing numbers, and the company is quietly hollowing out. What was once an exciting, high-energy organization is starting to resemble the Titanic — impressive from the outside, but taking on water fast. Promotion is nearly impossible in practice. It depends almost entirely on whether your specific manager chooses to advocate for you, and most do not. There is also a noticeable pattern of differential treatment toward foreign employees, particularly in the Prague and Brno offices. Engineers who are not local are held to different — and often less favorable — standards, which creates an uncomfortable and demotivating environment.

Pros

- Autonomy coupled with accountability. No micro-managing; you are trusted to do the right thing - Challenging work. Yes, it's hard work but if that doesn't scare you off, you'll love this place - Growth opportunities everywhere - both on the IC and managerial tracks - Truly remote first. Not just remote "friendly"; the entire culture is built around remote employees

Cons

- Challenging market. We have a lot of competitors and that leads to a certain amount of pressure to move with intention and speed. No resting on laurels! - Quite a bit of senior leader turnover (VP+), which is a bit concerning

Pros

There are no pros for this position.

Cons

Despite acquiring 2 new companies and increasing contract deals significantly over the last few years, legal has not gotten any new head count. Lawyers do all their own administrative work. There is no support and VERY very long hours. Despite being so short on resources, legal VPs continue to get raises while subordinates are forced to grind. There is only 1 privacy attorney, 1 procurement attorney and no paralegals. High legal turnover for a reason. The legal VPs do NOT value employees. No opportunity for growth. Also, supports the killing of innocent people.
