Pros
The work environment is relaxed, with no micro-management and a lot of freedom to make the right (or wrong) decisions. Pretty good compensation. Peer recognition.
Cons
- Nepotism everywhere. Hiring tons of friends from previous companies, including for positions of responsibility, even when they are incompetent. -Technology is very weak and outdated. Everyone is happy about MITRE results, which causes a lack of focus. Few people understand that it is easy to detect everything, and that doesn't make a good product. For now customers are fooled, but this trend can turn around very quickly. - No technically skilled people. When I joined I was shocked at how few competent security professionals work there. Many of the great minds have left for CrowdStrike and other competitors long ago.
