Unfortunately, the insane amount of gratis that you get does not make it worth it. Every job is a dead end job. There is really no path to move up within the company. If you are older than 27, you are too old to work at Sephora. You may be a great makeup artist, but you will probably never stand out. Way too much "gray area" and uncertainty for such a giant company. If you want to stand out as a makeup artist, get a job at a cosmetics company that will focus more on you as an individual. That is just not Sephora's style.
