Pros

gratis (when it was finally given!)

Cons

Micromanagement ! Treated like a 5 year old; favoritism-2 other cast left when I did=turnover increasing because cast treated poorly; Sephora favors client #1 and their employees dead last! Different rules for different people; Hourly pay is a joke-make more money anywhere else; annual P4D is another joke-happy talk; hours always being cut; My educational background higher than most leadership yet treated as just an ignorant employee! Zones are so restricted you cannot move and clients notice!! Also, the constant "searching" through employee purses, bags, etc. is totally demeaning-as if all are criminals;

Dying love for Sephora

Pros

Fun place to be if you love makeup and skincare. Sephora always carries the latest, most buzzed about products.

Cons

The only way to move up is to schmooze upper management. After on-boarding there is no more career development. Leads drive the business while exempt management sit in the back. New hires tend to come from outside the company rather than promoting within.
