      Pros

      Excellent benefits, people who been there less than 6 years are wonderful to work with.

      Cons

      Micromanaging, petty work environment, management is horrible, pay does not meet industry standard. They frown upon you using sick time they don't want you to have a life outside of septa. If you have a family and value work/life balance do not work for this department. They will have you fired by any means necessary.

      Pros

      Pay, medical, dental, prescription & pension. Also lots of overtime available. Vacation time is good also, paid holidays, 60days of sick time per year that rollover

      Cons

      Top heavy organization. Some supervisors have no clue as to how the transit industry works & only for there job because of who they knew. Management think there's not gray area to company rules & 9 times out of 10 will not flex the rules based on the situation. Lots of hours, fluctuation in schedule til you gain seniority, rude & hostile passengers, run schedules are some times to tight

      Stable pay. Good benefits. Free trans pass. Show up and get paid to do nothing. Get in with the right people and you're a made

      Cons

      It's not what you know but who you know I have witnessed some very very dangerous practices that were the public to know would never step foot on a vehicle. Same pay for everyone no such thing as Merritt you show up every day and buster tell you get the same raise as a person next to you never comes to work
