Pros

Good bennies, that's about it. Starting pay is ok takes 5 years to reach top.

Cons

I got a psychotic power mongral for a foreman. Any questions were considered a challenge. Hung the job over my head, never read a resume, had no idea I had a LOT of railroad background. If you like sitting and doing nothing, a lot of overtime, and being at the bottom of the senority list for years and years,( means you work when NOBODY wants to) this job may be for you. If you are experienced, and are good at what you do, forget it, everyone knows better, I would say it was mainly the department I was in, there were some good people.....they were doers, not talkers.

Relatively good work/life balance, although the company has no parental leave policy.

Cons

Can be very frustrating place to work! Many of the employees and managers have been here way too long and have no creativity!

Bad hours SEPTA runs your life in the beginning, certain managers don't do their job correctly people get promotions that don't deserve them
