Interesting projects. Providing beneficial service to community. Good health benefits. Decent starting salary.
Cons
Morale is generally low. Upper management is full of themselves and lack contemporary people management skills and knowledge. Its a lot of office politics and power struggles. Don't expect any flexibility or willingness to changing practices. Pension gets worse and worse. Don't treat employees like professional adults. Review and salary adjustment process is a joke.
