Pros
The people are awesome, my manager and coworkers were all helpful, enthusiastic, and overall great to work with. The company is steadily growing and has goals that should sustain it for quite a long time. The market for their product is going to increase for the foreseeable future. There are a lot of folks that care about the product and its' progression and quality. Good benefits. Hours were reasonable though not flexible (in my position).
Cons
Firefighting was a daily occurrence. Product development is rushed, often resulting in impromptu fixes out on the production floor. "Custom" product manufacturing is a challenge that is still being worked on here. Systemic issues have been reduced but it still needs work. Server Tech is still similar to a lot of family owned shops in Reno, change is slow and cautious. Advancement is limited mainly because it’s a small company.
