Pros
- Leadership that is transparent, authentic, friendly, welcoming, and kind (ex. even though there was a return-to-office effort, our leadership team communicated proactively, kindly, thoughtfully, and respectfully throughout the entire process and truly honored feedback from individuals - Every coworker I've met has been super friendly and willing to help out with anything anytime! - The offices are loaded with fun (game rooms, gyms, etc.) and free goodies (snacks, coffee, beverages, ice cream, etc.) - I feel recognized for great work and leadership makes it clear the impact we all have in our roles - A truly experienced CEO who knows how to operate a healthy scaling business AND also happens to be one of the most positive people on the planet - The pay is higher than many other tech companies - Six extra days off per year ("wellbeing days") & unlimited PTO for full-time exempt
Cons
- Sometimes feels like a startup culture with so many moving parts and things going on all the time (roles aren't as clearly defined as my experience at 2 out of the big 5 tech companies) - With recent RTO efforts, there's slightly less flexibility than my experience at other tech companies (even if you are remote they are asking nicely for you to have presence in an office at least once a week/month -- unless you are a certain amount of miles away from one) - The overall benefits are just okay... you have to pay out of pocket for healthcare (no completely free options), internet is only $30 month reimbursed, no other reimbursements, discounts through Fond (which i haven't found helpful), and a fitness partnership with Virgin Pulse (which I also haven't found helpful). - Sometimes so fast paced and so much workload that it's easy to over work or feel a little burnt out (but it's counterbalanced by the fact that the work is exciting!)
