Standard Retail Job

Pros

- A good job if you seek minimal responsibilities, and don't have a work history. - Fairly flexible scheduling. - Coworkers are usually friendly.

Cons

- Opportunity for advancement is only contingent on time spent there. It takes years to reach "Assistant Management" status. - No room for growth after you learn everything. - It's exactly what you'd expect from a retail job. - Raises are minimal (~25 cents) and on a set schedule (>1yr).
