Pros

Management isn't overbearing while you're on the clock. Management is willing to help. Coworkers are generally nice people. Generally management is understanding with deadlines.

Cons

You are expected to be on all the time. Weekends, off hours, holidays you'll be expected to be "on call". Even on your PTO days you're likely to be called or needed. I've seen employees cancel year-end vacations because of company needs and not get the time comped. Seen devs promised comp time for working a holiday and management denied this days later.

Pros

They kind of let you do your own thing, for a while.

Cons

A little cutthroat in that new hires mean high possibility of zero bonuses. When I was there, and it was announced that due to hiring there were no bonuses that year, the more senior employees were visibly miffed at the new hires.

Cons

This is a company of ~ 50 people - to some people this is a con - to me its a benefit No mass transit
