Pros

Shadow is the most open-minded company I've had the pleasure of working with. Your feedback goes far and the executive team is accessible. The company wants to succeed and will try as many strategies as possible to do so.

Cons

This is a global company so communication is sporadic. Shadow does have new leadership that clearly wants to see this change, though.

Pros

It’s definitely apparent that this is a start up. The fellow staff members are super friendly. I can’t say that I enjoyed my time here but I definitely did not hate it either. There’s many things that can be done better but that is the case with most companies. With the price of PC components I definitely worried about job security. The pros would be the time given to get up to speed. Decent pay (not for the area). And the kind and helpful team members. The laid back atmosphere was also great. I never felt like I was under any pressure which was awesome. I also felt welcomed and like a valued member of the team from day one. I can not stress this enough my fellow team members were amazing to work with.

Cons

The biggest draw back is the sheer lack of technical knowledge of most of the employees considering many of them have been there for years. There are huge gaps between most of the team members which makes it difficult to solve unusual problems. For a tech start up in Silicon Valley I found this most concerning. Growing the product came before anything else including developing technical proficiencies. If you have other options take them.
