Best Job I've Ever Had

Pros

Benefits are nice/HSA/501K contributions/PTO WFH Members that actually care and come into the calls with intention will keep you going and make you remember why you love helping people. I like my manager. Work experience with a large volume of population.

Cons

Most members are incentivized with rewards for the call so a majority aren't doing the calls to work on something that they want to change.... this a challenge. Easy to burn out doing back to back calls, after talking to 50 people a day it's harder to reach for empathy. I think you have to be mentally healthy yourself in this position, members have been so rude to me I've cried afterwards. Bathroom breaks will lower your metrics and could affect the raise you are given. A lot of reviews here state this is position is robotic and to some extent it's true. You will burn out if you care about every person on every call. 50+ people in a day to coach is too many, you will find out quickly it is impossible to care about every member, especially if they are coming into the call hardly caring about their own health.
