Toxic leadership creates a stressful, unbalanced environment

Pros

None Worst company Have no pros

Cons

Based on my family’s experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from joining this company. It was heartbreaking to watch people who consistently worked long hours, sacrificed weekends, and put the company’s needs ahead of their own families ultimately lose their jobs despite their dedication. In my opinion, the biggest problem was the leadership. Decisions appeared inconsistent, poorly thought out, and disconnected from the reality of the work being done by employees. Instead of providing direction, support, or accountability, leadership seemed to create confusion, unrealistic expectations, and unnecessary pressure. It often felt as though politics mattered more than performance, and hard work was not recognized or rewarded. The expectations placed on employees seemed endless, while priorities frequently changed without clear reasoning. Teams were expected to deliver more with less, often at the expense of their personal lives, health, and well-being. The environment appeared stressful rather than motivating, and it seemed difficult for employees to feel valued or secure regardless of how much they contributed. If you’re considering joining this company, my opinion is that you should be prepared for poor work-life balance, constant pressure, and leadership that may not provide the support or clarity you would expect. Talent and dedication alone did not appear to guarantee fair treatment or stability.

Pros

Fast paced, good products, nice offices.

Cons

No influence whats so ever, completely controlled by the US, benefits are awful and not competitive in the UK, people practices are archaic. There are people in Senior Management roles that couldn't direct a sports day. Do 5 roles and you're lucky if you get paid well for just 1 of them! If you have friends in the business you can get constant pay rises. If not you'll be behind the rest of the market.

Pros

New product innovation; decent bonus payout; employee share plan

Cons

The culture here has changed significantly since being listed publicly, putting unrealistic pressure and unsustainable goals on its employees. Leadership is entirely opaque and uncommunicative. Even with multiple complaints from numerous sources about the same individual (at the SLT level) to HR, nothing has been addressed. If you're looking for worklife balance or recognition, look elsewhere.
